The XXX Congress of the EUROPEAN CONFEDERATION OF MEDITERRANEAN MYCOLOGY (C.E.M.M. 2024) is organized by the Valencian Mycological Society (SOMIVAL), an associate member of the CEMM.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The congress will be held from October 27<\/strong> to November 2, <\/strong>2024 in Benic\u00e0ssim<\/strong> (Castell\u00f3n), a small city with a population of 19,951 inhabitants, located 12 kilometers from Castell\u00f3n and 75 from Valencia where you can enjoy nature, the mountains and the sea.<\/span><\/p>\n

The collection of taxa is planned to be carried out in three Natural Parks: the Sierra de Espad\u00e1n Natural Park, the Desierto de las Palmas Natural Park and the Penyagolosa Natural Park, mycological natural areas of reference in the Valencian Community of great interest for their special and rich biodiversity and which bring together the greatest and richest variety of fungal species in different types of habitats.<\/span><\/p>\n

This XXX Congress of the CEMM will be a scientific meeting of international scope, as well as a forum for research, dissemination, and study of the mycobiota of the surroundings of the collection areas. Likewise, and in a complementary way, the XXX Congress of the CEMM will highlight the rich cultural and historical heritage of the municipalities that are integrated into the activities of the Congress<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Attendees will be accommodated at the Hotel Intelier Orange **** <\/strong>next to the beach of Heli\u00f3polis, with fine golden sand, the longest beach in the municipality of Benicasim with 3 kilometers in length, awarded with the international award of the Blue Flag of the European Seas and with the \u00abQ\u00bb for tourist quality.<\/span><\/p>\n

The hotel has rooms with great comfort and convenience and is equipped with Wi-Fi throughout the building and free outdoor parking for congress participants staying at the hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n
